My Background
Greetings, and welcome. My name is Mike Bouje. Like many others, I was drawn to the art of massage, initially as a passion-driven hobby. My journey began in New Jersey, where I had the privilege of learning from two highly skilled massage therapists, where I obtained over five years of combined experience. Their mentorship and encouragement inspired me to further my knowledge and pursue formal qualifications, ultimately leading to my licensure and the establishment of my own practice.
In 2023, I made the decision to relocate to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where I enrolled at Bright Education and completed 500 hours of training to earn my certification in Swedish massage. Shortly thereafter, I passed the state exam and obtained my Massage License.
My Approach
My approach to massage therapy begins with understanding your specific needs and goals, whether that involves addressing an injury or promoting relaxation. I prioritize customizing each session to ensure that you receive the most effective and fulfilling experience. If a condition arises that is beyond my scope of practice, such as a severe injury, I will provide guidance and refer you to the appropriate healthcare professional for further care.
